Toughguy

Toughguy JJB Swindon Jan 2005

On a cold January morning JJB Swindon staff and members took part in the bi-annual "Toughguy" event. This included a 5 mile cross-country run to get them warmed up. Then 21 obstacles involving height, enclosed spaces, freezing cold underwater swimming, burning haystacks and even electric fences!. All who took part survived, Les is looking to take another team up for the summer event.............interested?

Summer Toughguy July 05

JJB Swindon Toughguy July 05 Team.

Les took a team of 14 brave(or foolish) competitors from Swindon JJB Healthclub to enter the Summer Toughguy. All survived the Rope climbs, tunnels, death slides, electric fences and the obligatory post event dodgy stomachs!
The ladies team did particulary well and actually came first in the Ladies team results.Credit to all who took part in this tough event all went home with a well derserved medal and saying never again.............but who knows January 2006 is not far away!!!!
