Personal Training

Whats involved?

At the first free consultation I will show you my qualifications, portfolio and insurances. I will ask you to fill out a medical health screening questionaire and find out what your long and short term goals are. At this time I will ask you to complete a food diary for the coming week.

We then make a date to do your fitness test at a time to suit you. I only start charging an hourly rate once we start the test.

The test will involve a VO2 Max (Oxygen intake) aerobic test, flexibility, strength and core tests. This test is not as daunting as you may think and it gives me a measure of where your strengths and weaknesses are, so these can be targeted. At this point I will also give my clients exercises they can do whilst I am not with them just to keep them going until I see them next.

At the following visit I will give you a full computer read out of your fitness test and the results of your food diary analysis. I will talk you through these results and give you a recommended eating plan to follow. The next session is when we start the training. No two training days will be the same as I am a great believer in keeping the training fun and varied.

Training sessions can be once, twice or three times a week, I will leave that up to you as we all have different requirements!

Getting fit and goal setting can mean different things to different people:-

 Losing weight
 Gaining strength
 Building muscles and toning
 Looking good and feeling good.
 Better sleep patterns
 Preventing heart disease
 Help build self confidence and self esteem

Other benefits: improve overall fitness levels, breathing, posture, motor skills, flexibility, technique. Share with friends for extra motivation and fun

Cheers,

Les
